Ridgewood Miniature Horses is a family owned and operated stud farm. We are proven to be successful in breeding and showing high quality miniature horses. We have proven this in the show ring, producing many Champion and Supreme winning horses.
While we breed for confirmation and temprement before colour, included in our stallions are a homozygous black pinto and an imported AMHA regsitered homozygous Appaloosa. The choice of colour is an added bonus.
Haven taken time using our stallions to establish our own breeding programme, we will now be offering our stallions to an exclusive and limited number of outside mares each season.

What a fantastic show season! All our show team placed in their respective classes for the NZMHA Hi Points. We had a number of Supreme and Runner-Ups throughout the season from a number of the horses. Special mention to Ridgewood SE Prince Edward - who has certainly made a name for himself and took Grand National Runner-Up Supreme; Ridgewood MM Midnight Pete - PJ was first Cat A Hi Point Gelding 2 Years & Over out of 58 entries; Ridgewood SE Fancy the Illusion - Nikita was 1st Cat B Hi Point Yearling Filly out of 38 entries. Also congratulations to Jan Stancich of Silvaquest Miniatures - who won Cat B Hi Point Weanling / Yearling Gelding with Silvaquest Oreo's Magic Time, sired by Ridgewood Man in the Moon.

Ridgewood SE Rebel Prince has now been gelded and is offerd for sale as a gelding. Reluctantly Longwood Southern Snow is offered for sale. He has been a fantastic stallion and proven sire, but we need to make room for our younger stallions.
