After trying for some years to get her mother in foal finally Hope was born. Hope is a very special girl who shouldn't be alive. She was a red bag baby and after 45 minutes trying to get her out, we were amazed to find her alive. But that was the easy bit. Hope spent the first two weeks unable to hold herself up, requiring us to tube feed her and then hold her up to feed. She also got very sick due to an incompatability between hers and her mother's blood type. We never gave up hope - and she is now fit and healthy.
